  • What is the process?
    Get in touch through the 'say hello' form. I'll confirm my availability and email a quote [be sure to check your junk folder - I sometimes end up in there - ugh]. Lock me in by accepting the quote online OR book a Zoom catch up to see if I'm the right fit for you, I love hearing all about your plans. Confirm your date by paying the booking fee. Three months out, we catch up over a beverage [coffee or beer is my preference, but you do you]. This is our ceremony planning session where we talk all things ceremony, lodge the legals and have a good old chat to get to know each other. You lucky ducks also head home with a questionnaire, so I can capture all the details. I draft your ceremony and send you a copy to make sure it is perfection. Get you hitched! Register your marriage and order the official certificate.
  • Can we book you as our MC too?
    I'm so glad you asked... absolutely! My MC package can be added to any booking. It includes everything to ensure the smooth transition between ceremony, family photos, cocktail hour, reception, speeches and finally the dance floor.
  • How much are your packages?
    I know, I know - you just want a ball park, but it is not that straight forward, there are a few things that need to be considered. Celebrants in Newcastle and the Hunter Valley are known to charge anywhere from $500 [for a legals only ceremony] to $3000+ [for a full ceremony package]. Use the contact form to receive an accurate quote for your date, time and venue.
  • How long are your ceremonies?
    It really does vary from couple to couple, as each of my ceremonies is written just for them. But I feel, a banging ceremony is twenty minutes or so. This gives us plenty of time to say all the things, feel all the feels and enjoy the moment... while also keeping your guests from daydreaming about the bar.
  • What if we have no idea where to start?
    Most couples feel this way and that's why I am here - never fear. We will take the time to walk through a ceremony step by step and discuss each element. I will offer plenty of options, inspiration and honest opinions. I will ask plenty of questions, so together we can design exactly what you want.
  • Vows... HELP!!!
    Yep, I hear ya. Vows are the most nerve-wracking part of the whole day... but I'll let you in on a little secret... they are also the BEST part. I am your ultimate wing woman when it comes to vows. We can work on them together, so you feel super confident with the words you have chosen to share with your love.
  • Do you have a PA?
    You bet I do. She is the MVP on the team. A battery operated, cordless microphone, bluetooth tune playing, super star [Bose S1 Pro]. Speaking of the tunes - you're most welcome to utilise this for all your pre ceremony and ceremony music [aisle song - etc] I take care of it all on my device so you don't need to wrangle a friend into hitting play, remember to download anything, or trust the right song is played at just the right moment.
