My inspiration to become a Marriage Celebrant came from my own wedding. In planning for our day we wanted a simple and relaxed ceremony. We also wanted it to reflect us as a couple. We were fortunate enough to find a perfect match with our celebrant. She wrote a beautiful ceremony with just the right amount of romance, humour and fun. 

 

To my surprise, upon reflecting on our big day, my favourite part was not the glamour of getting ready, the amazing reception with friends and family or even our first dance as husband and wife. It was our ceremony which had us all laughing, shedding a few joyful tears and sharing our story with loved ones. 

 

I want to create this feeling for my couples. I believe everyone should move onto their reception having loved their ceremony and taken a moment to savour such an important milestone.

 

On a more personal note; my true joys in life are good coffee, strolls along the beach, coffee, cocktails with girlfriends and coffee. I love a slow day poolside with a paperback, devouring true crime podcasts, adventures with my little family in our camper van and our fluffy little love, Teddy the Frenchie.
